10 Days Total Collection of ‘Fast And Furious 8’

Last week released much hyped Hollywood offering Fast And Furious 8 aka The Fate Of The Furious refused to slow down in it’s second week. After performing excellently in the opening week and far better than the opposite Hindi movie Begum Jaannow it is running in the second week with good hold over the Indian audience.

With jaw-dropping actions and thrill, this 8th installment of the very popular American franchise Fast And Furious impressed all the viewers and gained good word of mouth. While some critics found it lighter than the previous installment because of weak storyline but still it has come out as the winner at box office.

In the extended 4-days opening weekend, Vin Diesel starrer remained strong throughout and did the business of 50.04 crores nett from around 1700 screens across the country, which was including 6.29 crores of Wednesday with paid previews, 9.76 crores of Thursday, 11.25 crores of Friday (Good Friday), 10.75 crores of Saturday and 12 crores of Sunday.

Then in weekdays, the movie faced considerable dip than weekend but still managed to collect good amount of 17.50 crores with 5.15 crores of Monday, 4.60 crores of Tuesday, 4.15 crores of Wednesday and 3.60 crores of Thursday. After the opening week, total collection of Fast And Furious 8 was recorded as 67.54 crores nett.

Now it is running in the second week with better pace than new Hindi release Noor. On 2nd Friday, F. Gary Gray’s directorial faced around 15% of drop than previous day and minted the amount of 3.05 crores. While the newly released much anticipated Sonakshi Sinha’s Noor registered the opening of only 1.54 crore.

On the next day i.e. Saturday with decent growth due to weekend, Fast And Furious 8 garnered the business of 3.85 crores and made it’s 10 days total collection as 74.44 crores nett (103.39 crores gross) nationwide. With this, the movie has entered in 100 crore club (gross).
