Neha Sharma, Aditya Seal & Aashim Gulati starrer Tum Bin 2 has received mixed reviews from critics as well as moviegoers. Its music had created good buzz among audience before the release, but on box office it has not witnessed much response. Demonetization alone cannot be marked as the major reason behind its dull performance; lack of starpower is also the one.

On the opening day, Tum Bin 2 recorded only 10-15% of occupancy on average number of screens and did the business of 0.60 crore. Then on Saturday, it received little better and minted the amount of 0.80 crore. On the last day of weekend i.e. Sunday being holiday, the movie witnessed decent growth in its occupancy. It collected the amount of 1 crore on its third day and made its opening weekend total collection as 2.40 crores.

While the John Abraham & Sonakshi starrer Force 2 has been released with good buzz and as expected received decent response on box office. Audience liked the movie and got impressed with the power-packed performances by lead stars. From critics, it has received mixed reviews but that has not hampered its performance.

With 20-25% of occupancy, Force 2 registered the decent business of 6.05 crores on its first day, which is higher than the opening business of its prequel Force (5.05 crores) and John’s last solo release Rock Handome (5.39 crores). On the second day i.e. Saturday, it witnessed slightly higher and minted the amount of 6.50 crores.

On Sunday, Force 2 reported more jump in occupancy and raked the amount of 7.50 crores. With this its opening weekend domestic total has become 20.05 crores from 1800 screens across India. From international market also, especially in UAE-GCC, this action thriller has done well in the weekend.
