Opening Weekend Total Collection of Happy Bhag Jayegi

This Friday released Hindi romantic-comedy Happy Bhag Jayegi is witnessing gradual increment in its occupancy due to positive word of mouth. Being decently promoted and big banner presentation, it has been released with much hype across the country. Despite not so effective story line, the movie has received favorable response from audience as well as critics, which attracted more audience toward theaters.

Most of the audience found it entertaining and praising the lead actors Abhay Deol, Diana Penty, Jimmy Sheirgill, Ali Fazal and Momal Sheikh for giving wonderful performances. Supporting actor Piyush Mishra is also getting huge appreciation from everyone. Acting section is the major reason, which makes Happy Bhag Jayegi an enjoyable flick with family and friends.

On the opening day, Mudassar Aziz’s directorial reported decent occupancy of 20% across 1300 screens in India and did the average business of 2.32 crores. On the second day being Saturday and due to positive reactions, it showed decent rise in its occupancy and raked the business of 3.81 crores despite Akshay Kumar’s last week released Rustom, which is still ruling on Indian box office.

After 2 days total collection of Happy Bhag Jayegi was recorded as 6.13 crores. On the last day of weekend i.e. Sunday, the movie reported higher occupancy than last 2 days and added the amount of 4.58 crores to its account. With this, its opening weekend total has become 10.71 crores on domestic box office.
