Box Office: Iru Mugan (Inkokkadu) 4th Day Collection, Earns Good in 4-Days Weekend

Opening Weekend Total Collection of Vikram’s Iru Mugan

Anand Shankar’s directorial recent Tamil action thriller sci-fi Iru Mugan has enjoyed good response of audience through out the weekend and completed 4 days on a good note across India. Being much awaited, it has been released with high buzz among audience and as expected witnessing fair response on box office.

Iru Mugan has been released on 1000 screens across the globe in Tamil and Telugu (dubbed) languages; titled as ‘Inkokkadu’ in Telugu. It features the very popular Chiyaan Vikram, Nayanthara and Nithya Menen in lead roles. All of them have performed wonderfully and are being praised by everyone.

On the opening day, Iru Mugan witnessed good occupancy on 400 screens across Tamil Nadu and scored the amount of 5.25 crores. With this it has emerged as the second highest opening of Vikram’s career after I (Ai) that was 8 crores. On the next day i.e. Friday it remained steady and raked the business of 4.50 crores.

On Saturday, with little more drop Iru Mugan did the business of 4 crores. Then on the last day of weekend i.e. Sunday, being holiday the movie raised up slightly and added the amount of 4.75 crores to its account. With this, total 4-days weekend collection of the movie has become 18.50 crores from Tamil states.

From Andhra Pradesh/Telangana also, Iru Mugan has reported good performance and done the business of 15.50 crores in 4 days with 4.75 crores of Thursday, 4 crores of Friday, 3.25 crores of Saturday and 3.50 crores of Sunday. In Kerala, it has 114 screens and minted the amount of 3 crores* from there including 1.25 crore of Thursday, 0.75 crore of Friday, 0.45 crore of Saturday and 0.55 crore* of Sunday.

At worldwide box office, it has done the business of total 51.19 crores gross in 4 days including 12.66 crores of Thursday, 10.12 crores of Friday, 13.94 crores of Saturday and 14.47 crores of Sunday.
