2 Days Total Collection of Dr. MSG’s Jattu Engineer
Like previous movies, Dr. MSG’s latest offering Jattu Engineer is also storming at box office. This satirical comedy drama has been released with enormous buzz among fans and as expected receiving overwhelmed response from everyone across the country. In 2 days of release, it has grossed over 35 crores domestically.
Last three movies of Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim were satirical action drama, but this time he has come with completely different genre i.e. comedy, which is an advantage for it to attract major segment of audience. Jattu Engineer is on a wonderful concept of transforming a backward village to a self sustained one, without being preachy.
On the opening day, directed by Dr. MSG himself Jattu Engineer recorded exceptional occupancy of more than 90% of occupancy across India and did the massive business of 17.10 crores. With this, it registered the second biggest opening of his career, after MSG 3- Lion Heart (18 crores). In Haryana, Rajasthan and Punjab, the movie is getting almost 100% of occupancy.
On Saturday being weekend, it remained strong and as per makers, it minted the amount of 17.92 crores with slight growth. After 2 days, total collection of Jattu Engineer has become 35.02 crores gross. On Sunday too, it seems to fetch higher business domestically.
Despite having awaited new Hindi release Half Girlfriend, Hindi Medium and existing Baahubali 2 in opposite, Jattu Engineer is heading unaffectedly at box office and all set for a impressive weekend gross total.
