Box Office: Jolly LLB 2 22nd Day Collection, Akshay Starrer Crosses ₹113 Cr Total Domestically

22 Days Total Collection of ‘Jolly LLB 2’

After an excellent performance in early weeks, now director Subhash Kapoor and superstar Akshay Kumar’s recent collaboration Jolly LLB 2 is heading decently on box office. As expected, the movie has impressed all its viewers as well as critics and received positive reviews from them. As a result, it gained strong word of mouth and emerged as the first clean hit of the year.

Fox Star Studios’ recent presentation Jolly LLB 2 reported an excellent occupancy in the opening week and did the business of ₹77.71 crores, with ₹50.46 crores of weekend and ₹27.25 crores of weekdays from Indian screens. In it’s second week despite several new releases, the movie remained strong and collected the amount of total ₹26.74 crores, which was including ₹17.73 crores of weekend and ₹9.01 crores of weekdays.

In it’s third week, Jolly LLB 2 had Vishal Bhardwaj’s much awaited Rangoon in opposite and despite this, it registered decent business of ₹8.52 crores with ₹6.26 crores of weekend and ₹2.26 crores of weekdays, After three weeks, total collection of the movie was recorded as ₹112.97 crores on domestic box office. With this, it has also emerged as the fifth highest grossing movie of superstar Akshay Kumar by surpassing his 2014’s Holiday (₹112.45 crores).

Now this satirical comedy drama has entered in the fourth week and has new offering Commando 2 in opposite. On it’s fourth Friday, Jolly LLB 2 faced around 30% of drop than previous day and managed to score the amount of ₹0.35 crore, which has made it’s 22 days total domestic collection as ₹113.32 crores. By this weekend, the movie is positively expected to surpass  the lifetime total of Akshay‘s Housefull 2 (₹114 crores).
