Box Office: Jolly LLB 2 25th Day Collection, Still has Enough Hold over Audience

25 Days Total Collection of Akshay Kumar’s Jolly LLB 2

After 2014’s Holiday, superstar Akshay Kumar’s recent much awaited offering Jolly LLB 2 has surpassed the lifetime total of his 2012’s Housefull 2 and emerged as its fourth highest grossing movie so far after Rowdy Rathore, Airlift and Rustom. Now the movie has slowed down but still has enough hold over the audience across the country and increasing its business total with each single day.

Fox Star Studios’ second installment from the franchise that was began in 2013 with Jolly LLB, reported excellent occupancy throughout the opening week in India and did the business of 77.71 crores from around 3500 screens. In the second week despite several new offerings, it remained strong and managed to collect the amount of 26.74 crores.

In its third week, Jolly LLB 2 had Vishal Bhardwaj’s much anticipated Rangoon in opposite but still performed decently and added the amount of 8.52 crores to its account. Now the movie is running in fourth week and has Vidyut Jammwal’s Commando 2 and English movie Logan in opposite.

In the fourth weekend, Subhash Kapoor’s directorial this satirical comedy courtroom-drama has raked the business of 1.50 crore, which was including 0.35 crore of Friday, 0.53 crore of Saturday and 0.62 crore of Sunday. After 24 days, total collection of Jolly LLB 2 was recorded as 114.47 crores.

Once again, Akshay starrer is in weekdays and getting lesser footfalls in theaters than before. On its 4th Monday, it faced almost 29% of drop than Friday and minted the amount of 0.25 crore, which has made its 25 days domestic total as 114.72 crores. The movie can garner more than 115.25 crores by this week.
