Box Office: Jolly LLB 2 6th Day Collection, Surpasses Lifetime Total of Akshay’s Entertainment

6 Days Total Collection of ‘Jolly LLB 2’

The second installment of the franchise Jolly LLB, is performing very well on box office across the country and surpassed the lifetime total of previous one within in the opening weekend. Being superstar Akshay Kumar starrer, Jolly LLB 2 has been released last Friday with enormous hype among his fans and as expected witnessing very favorable response of all the viewers.

The actor has performed brilliantly in the movie, along with veteran actors Annu Kapoor and Saurabh Shukla. Because of its good content and wonderful performances of the lead stars, the movie has impressed everyone. Jolly LLB 2 has received very positive reviews from most of the critics as well as moviegoers, which generated strong word of mouth about it.

Subhash Kapoor’s directorial this satirical comedy drama started its journey on a normal note but picked up well over the weekend. It did the business of total 50.46 crores in first 3 days, which was including 13.20 crores of Friday, 17.31 crores of Saturday and 19.95 crores of Sunday. Now the movie is running in weekdays and asusual getting lesser footfalls in theaters than earlier.

On Monday, Jolly LLB 2 faced 45% of drop than last Friday but managed to collect decent amount of 7.26 crores from Indian screens. With this, it has dominated the first Monday business record of previous biggies Raees (6.25 crores) & Kaabil (4.10 crores). On Tuesday it was Valentine’s Day, so the movie showed impressive jump and added the amount of 9.07 crores to its account.

On the next day i.e. Wednesday, as expected Jolly LLB 2 witnessed drop of almost 35% than previous day and minted the amount of 5.89 crores, which has made its 6 days total collection as 72.69 crores on domestic box office. With this, it has surpassed the lifetime total of Akshay Kumar‘s Entertainment (72.02 crores) and emerged as his 12th highest grossing movie so far.
