One Month Total Collection of Kaabil & Raees

A month back released two much awaited Hindi offerings Raees and Kaabil are all set to end up soon. With limited occupancy in theaters, both the movies are just crawling on box office. Due to huge initial buzz, they started on an excellent note but ultimately faced much loss in their business because of this clash.

Due to higher buzz & screen count, superstar Shahrukh Khan starrer Raees reported higher business in the opening week than Kaabil but afterward, Hrithik Roshan starrer performed better due to positive word of mouth. Overall both the movies have entertained audience much and cashed this one month satisfactorily.

In the first three weeks, Rahul Dholakia’s directorial did the business of total 137.26 crores from Indian screens, which was including 118.36 crores of 9-days extended first week, 16.40 crores of second and 2.50 crores of third week. While the director Sanjay Gupta’s latest offering scored 103.17 crores, including 82.18 crores of 9-days extended first week, 17.09 crores of second and 3.90 crores of third week.

In the fourth weekend, on a very low note Raees minted the amount of 0.10 crore (Fri 0.03cr, Sat 0.03cr, Sun 0.04cr) and on the other hand, Kaabil raked 0.36 crore (Fri 0.10cr, Sat 0.12cr, Sun 0.14cr). Then in weekdays, asusual both the movies recorded lesser footfalls than before and minted the amount of 0.07 crore (Mon 0.03cr, Tue 0.02cr, Wed 0.01cr, Thu 0.01cr) and 0.12 crore (Mon 0.04cr, Tue 0.03cr, Wed 0.03cr, Thu 0.02cr) respectively.

After 4 weeks, total collection of Raees and Kaabil has become 137.43 crores and 103.65 crores on domestic box office. Now from the fifth week, both have new offering Rangoon in opposite along with already existing Jolly LLB 2, so it won’t be easy for them to get considerable response.
