Rajinikanth’s Kabali 4 Days Total Collection

Superstar Rajinikanth’s latest offering crime thriller Kabali has shattered many records on box office so far. Being the biggest Tamil movie of the year, it has been released with enormous hype among audience across the globe. As expected it has witnessed phenomenal response in the opening weekend and registered highest opening business of all time in Indian cinema, dominated the record of SRK’s Happy New Year (44.97 crores).

Despite mixed reviews from critics, Kabali is heading break-free worldwide. As per critics, weak direction and script are the spoilers of the movie but still the presence of Thalaivar makes it worth watch. Fans of Rajinikanth are showing immense craze toward Kabali, there excitement can be seen outside theaters and on social media.

In the opening weekend, Kabali reported tremendous occupancy through out and did the business of 110 crores. That included 46.50 crores of Friday, 30.05 crores of Saturday and 33.45 crores of Sunday. State-wise breakage of the movie in the weekend is- 47 crores of Tamil Nadu, 20 crores of Andhra Pradesh, 16 crores of Karnataka, 7.85 crores of Kerala and 19.15 crores of north plus rest of India including all there versions- Tamil, Telugu & Hindi.

After the weekend, Kabali grossed 128 crores across India and made its worldwide gross total as 215 crores with 87 crores from overseas market. The overseas weekend business included, 27 crores of USA/Canada, 28 crores of Malaysia/Singapore, 21 crores of UAE/GCC, 11 crores of UK plus Europe and rest of world.

Now it has entered in weekdays and being normal working days witnessing lesser occupancy than weekend. On Monday, Kabali reported almost 55% drop than Saturday and added the amount of 13.50 crores to its account on domestic box office. With this, its 4 days India total has become 123.50 crores.
