4 Days Total Collection of Katamarayudu

Power star Pawan Kalyan’s recent offering Katamarayudu has been released this Friday on around 1500 screens across the globe and as expected received overwhelmed response from fans as well as audience. Being much awaited, the movie started it’s journey at box office on an impressive note and remained strong throughout the opening weekend.

Katamarayudu is an official Telugu remake of superstar Ajith Kumar’s Tamil movie Veeram, that was released in 2014. Audience found the film entertaining and showed big thumbs up. From critics also, the movie has received positive reviews and gained strong word of mouth.

On the opening day, with almost 100% of occupancy across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, Katamarayudu did the massive business of 22.25 crores nett. (28.10 crores gross). With this, it has dominated the opening record of Pawan’s previous offering Sardar Gabbar Singh (20.50 crores).

On Saturday like other south Indian movies, this one too faced abrupt fall in it’s business graph but managed to collect decent amount of 5.10 crores (6.40 crores gross). On Sunday, with good growth Katamarayudu minted the amount of 8.90 crores (11.25 crores gross) and made it’s opening weekend total collection as 36.25 crores (45.75 crores gross) across Telugu states (AP/T).

Now Kishore Kumar Pardasani’s directorial has entered in weekdays and asusual started getting lesser footfalls in theaters than earlier. On Monday, the movie faced around 55% of drop and added the amount of 4 crores to it’s account on AP/T box office. With this, 4 days total collection of Katamarayudu has become 40.25 crores (50.80 crores gross).
