Box Office: Meri Pyaari Bindu, Sarkar 3 & Lahoriye 3rd Day Collection across India

Meri Pyaari Bindu, Sarkar 3 and Lahoriye 3 Days Total Collection

New Hindi offerings of this week, Meri Pyaari Bindu and Sarkar 3 were released with some expectations but got failed to impress audience as well as critics. While the Punjabi movie Lahoriye has received favorable response from viewers and reported comparatively good business at box office.

Ayushmann Khurrana and Parineeti Chopra starrer romantic comedy Meri Pyaari Bindu received mixed reviews from critics, this is why despite good promotions it witnessed low footfalls in theaters throughout the opening weekend. On Friday, it recorded 15-20% of occupancy and did the business of only 1.75 crore.

With limited growth on Saturday, it raked the business of 2.25 crores. On the last day of weekend i.e. Sunday, Akshay Roy’s directorial showed little more jump and collected 2.50 crores to make it’s opening weekend total 6.50 crores across the country from 750 screens.

On the other hand, Amitabh Bachchan starrer political thriller Sarkar 3 is the third installment of filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma’s most successful franchise Sarkar and was earlier expected to do decent at box office. But it also got failed and disappointed everyone.

On the opening day, it did the business of 2.10 crores with 10-15% of occupancy across 1425 screens in India. On Saturday, it showed minimal rise and minted the amount of 2.20 crores. Then on Sunday, the movie remained almost similar and collected 2.35 crores to make it’s total 6.65 crores.

While Amrinder Gill and Sargun Mehta starrer Punjabi movie Lahoriye was released with limited screens and audience reach, but still doing well at domestic as well as overseas box office. Viewers liked this romantic drama and reacted in it’s favor.

Amberdeep Singh’s directorial Lahoriye did the good business of 1.75 crore on Friday and 2.15 crores on Saturday with major contribution from Punjab and New Delhi. On Sunday, it showed more growth and done the business of 2.50 crores to make it’s opening weekend total 6.40 crores.
