Opening Day Collection of M.S.Dhoni The Untold Story

Finally one of the most awaited movies of the year, M.S.Dhoni The Untold Story has released out on box office in Hindi, Tamil & Telugu languages. As expected it is getting overwhelmed response from audience across the country. Being the biopic of Indian cricket team skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the movie has been released with enormous buzz and enjoying super positive reviews from critics as well as moviegoers.

As per critics, M.S.Dhoni The Untold Story is very inspiring, emotional and a must watch family movie, which has beautiful music and brilliant performances of stars. Sushant Singh Rajput is receiving huge appraisal from everyone for his top notch performance in the title role. Reportedly captain cool himself suggested Sushant’s name for his biopic.

On Friday, M.S.Dhoni The Untold Story opened up with excellent occupancy of more than 50% across the country including single as well as multi-screen cinemas, which is similar to Salman Khan’s Sultan. With its advance booking only, the movie had ensured the second biggest opening of the year.

Now after the phenomenal opening day, total collection of M.S.Dhoni The Untold Story is recorded as 21.30 crores on domestic box office. Major contribution is made by the north Indian regions but from south also, the movie has reported tremendous response especially in Chennai.

The fan following of Dhoni is not limited to India, this is the reason it is getting quite impressive from overseas market. In fact,  one Hollywood production house has bought the English remake rights of M.S.Dhoni The Untold Story from director Neeraj Pandey and Fox Star Studios at 10 crores.
