2 Days Total Collection of MS Dhoni The Untold Story

After the bumper start on domestic box office, highly awaited M.S.Dhoni The Untold Story remained super strong on Saturday. Neeraj Pandey’s directorial this sports biopic is getting overwhelmed response from audience across the country as well as overseas. As expected it has received very positive reviews from most of the critics, but some are not in its favor because of quite long run time.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni is not only the name of Indian cricket team skipper but its an emotion for every Indian. This is the reason, which makes its critic-proof and fly high on buzz. The movie has just hijacked the box office, infact it recorded almost similar advance booking as Salman Khan’s Sultan.

The lead star of M.S.Dhoni The Untold Story, Sushant Singh Rajput is being praised by everyone for his brilliant acting in the title role. Critics and Bollywood celebrities are also very much impressed with his work. Reportedly Dhoni himself suggested his name for this role and undoubtedly he has nailed it.

On the opening day, the movie recorded the tremendous occupancy of more than 50% across the country and registered the second biggest opening of the year after Sultan (36.54 crores) with the whopping amount of 21.30 crores. Major contribution was made by north regions but south has also reported excellent craze, especially in Chennai.

On the next day i.e. Saturday due to strong word of mouth, M.S.Dhoni The Untold Story has reported almost similar response as Friday and done the business of 20.60 crores on domestic box office. With this 2 days total collection of the movie has become 41.90 crores net / 58.19 crores gross.
