Box Office: Naam Shabana 1st Day Collection, Baby’s Prequel Takes Decent Start

Opening Day Collection of Taapsee Pannu’s Naam Shabana

Year’s one of the much anticipated movies, Naam Shabana has been released on Friday across the country with 2100 screens. As expected this action spy thriller started it’s box office journey on a decent note and witnessed almost favorable response of audience. Unfortunately, it got failed to impress critics much and received mixed reviews from them.

As per critics, all the actors in the movie have given brilliant performances but still it lacks in thrill. While most of the audience found it thrilling and showed thumbs up. With her power-packed performance, Taapsee has impressed all the viewers but the real reason behind their excitement is superstar Akshay Kumar, who is superb as always.

On the opening day, Naam Shabana reported the morning occupancy of only 15% but picked up well from evening shows. The movie received good support of female audience and highest occupancy is recorded in Hyderabad and Gujarat. As per reports, the movie has minted the amount of 5.12 crores with and dominated the opening record of Taapsee’s Pink (4.32 crores).

Obviously the presence of Akshay Kumar is resulted in favor of the movie and helped it to take decent opening. Unfortunately Naam Shabana has not gained strong word of mouth, but still it is positively expected to remain decent over the weekend as adjacent release Poorna won’t give any noticeable competition to it. Also the already existing Badrinath Ki Dulhania & Phillauri are running in their row.
