Box Office: OK Jaanu 10th Day Collection, Earns 21.43 Cr Total with 2nd Weekend from India

Last week released Hindi offering OK Jaanu has lost most of its pace within the opening week. Despite good star power and promotions, the movie didn’t get fair opening. Also it has not received much positive reviews from audience as well as critics. As a result, it remained almost flat over the opening weekend.

OK Jaanu is the second collaboration of Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor after 2013’s Aashiqui 2. Earlier it was expected to perform better than previous one but on field it got failed to impress viewers. As per critics, the movie is exactly the same as original OK Kanmani (Tamil).

In its opening weekend, Shaad Ali’s directorial witnessed an average response through out and did the business of only 13.80 crores, which included 4.08 crores of Friday, 4.90 crores of Saturday and 4.82 crores of Sunday. While the adjacent Hollywood release xXx Return of Xander Cage scored 20.50 crores in its 2-days weekend.

Then in weekdays, as usual the movie faced more drops and registered the business of total 5.20 crores, including 1.95 crore of Monday, 1.35 crore of Tuesday, 1.05 crore of Wednesday and 0.85 crore of Thursday. After the first week, total collection of OK Jaanu was recorded as 19 crores from Indian screens.

Now Karan Johar’s recent venture has entered in the second week and remained average in this weekend too. On its 2nd Friday, the movie faced slight more drop than previous day and managed to score 0.55 crore. Then on Saturday, with limited growth it minted the amount of 0.83 crore.

On the last day of weekend i.e. Sunday, OK Jaanu reported almost similar response due to #IndvEng cricket match and estimated to add the amount of 1.05 crore to its account and take its 10 days net domestic total to 21.43 crores.
