Box Office: Pink 12th Day Collection, Crosses 54.50 Cr Total till 2nd Tuesday

The recent offering of megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Pink has emerged as one of the most appreciating and successful movies of the year. Because of its impactful concept, direction and performances of actors, the movie has impressed everyone and flying high on buzz across the globe.

Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury’s directorial this social thriller had started decently on box office but super positive reviews of critics as well as moviegoers, made it first choice of audience. In the opening weekend, Pink witnessed more than 120% of growth from Friday.

With strong performance in weekdays too, it registered the total business of 35.91 crores in the first week including 21.51 crores of weekend and 14.40 crores of weekdays. Then in the second weekend, despite new releases Pink showed impressive growth and minted the amount of 15.21 crores with 3.15 crores of Friday, 5.49 crores of Saturday and 6.57 crores of Sunday.

After the second weekend, total collection of Shoojit Sircar’s Pink was recorded as 51.12 on domestic box office and 13.78 crores from overseas market. Now the movie once again running in weekdays and getting lesser audience than before.

On its 2nd Monday, it faced the drop of 37% than last Friday and raked the business of 1.98 crore. Then on the next day i.e. Tuesday, it reported little more drop and added the amount of 1.61 crore to its account. With this 12 days total collection of Pink has become 54.72 crores across India.
