Box Office: Pink 13th Day Collection, Crosses 56 Cr Total till 2nd Wednesday

13 Days Total Collection of Amitabh Bachchan’s Pink

Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury’s directorial social thriller Pink is heading steadily at box office. Due to its impactful script and brilliant performances, it has impressed everyone and emerged as one of the most appreciating movies of the year. Despite several new releases, it remained the first choice of audience in the second week too.

Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari, Andrea Tariang and Angad Bedi starrer Pink started decently on box office and received super positive reviews from critics as well as moviegoers. Which generated strong word of mouth of the movie and made it fly high on buzz.

In the opening week, Shoojit Sircar’s recent offering witnessed phenomenal growth of more than 120% from Friday to Sunday. In weekdays too, it remained strong and minted the amount of 35.91 crores including 21.51 crores of weekend and 14.40 crores of weekdays.

Now it is running in the second week and reported impressive business of 15.21 crores in its second weekend, which included 3.15 crores of Friday, 5.49 crores of Saturday and 6.57 crores of Sunday. After 10 days of release, total collection of Pink was recorded as 51.12 crores on domestic box office and 13.78 crores from overseas.

Once again, the movie is in weekdays and getting lesser occupancy than before. On 2nd Monday, it faced 37% of drop than last Friday and did the business of 1.98 crore. Then on Tuesday with usual decline, it collected the amount of 1.62 crore.

On the next day i.e. Wednesday, Pink reported little more drop and added the amount of 1.53 crore to its account. With this 13 days total domestic collection of the movie has become 56.25 crores net / 78.12 crores gross. It is positively expected to gross more than 100 crores worldwide till its 3rd weekend.
