First Day Collection of Amitabh Bachchan & Taapsee Pannu’s Pink
Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury’s directorial debut Hindi movie Pink has witnessed almost decent response on its opening day across India. As expected it has received very strong reviews from viewers, as it is getting from critics. Everyone found the movie very impactful and must watch for the society, as it is based on the issue of women molestation.
Pink features the megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu, Kriti Kulhari, Andrea Tariang and Angad Bedi. All of them have performed superbly well. Especially the Big B, he has nailed it and once again proved his megastar skills. Director Aniruddha is also being praised by everyone for his brilliant direction.
On the opening day, this courtroom thriller drama Pink opened up with an average occupancy of 25% across the country. But with strong word of mouth, it picked up well and recorded the overall occupancy of 35-40% on Friday. As per the report, it has raked the business of 4.32 crores on domestic box office.
Now only in India but from overseas market too, Pink is witnessing impressive response. From 64 screens of UAE, it reported the business of approximately 0.73 crore (AED 400,000). The movie is positively expected to take good growth on Saturday and Sunday.
One more Hindi movie Raaz Reboot (Raaz 4) has released with Pink. It has also taken decent start on box office but received unfavorable reviews from critics as well as audience. So this can be beneficial for the opponent i.e. Pink.
