Box Office: Pink 20th Day Collection, Crosses 63 Cr Total till 3rd Wednesday

20 Days Total Collection of Amitabh Bachchan’s Pink

Amitabh Bachchan’s recent offering, the social thriller Pink has already become the third highest grossing movie of his career and now heading to acquire second position on the list. By the end of this week, the movie is all set to surpass the lifetime total of Big B’s Satyagraha. After that, the latest one will be his second highest grossing movie so far.

Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury’s directorial Pink has enjoyed super positive reviews of critics as well as audience so far and registered excellent business on domestic box office. In the opening week, it witnessed terrific occupancy through out and did the business of 35.91 crores with 21.51 crores of weekend & 14.40 crores of weekdays.

In the second week despite several fresh Hindi release, Pink remained strong and raked the business of 21.87 crores with 15.21 crores of weekend & 6.66 crores of weekdays. Now it is running in the third week and despite highly awaited M.S.Dhoni The Untold Story in opposite, it has enough hold over audience.

In its third weekend, the movie minted the amount of 4.05 crores with 1.08 crore of Friday, 1.35 crore of Saturday and 1.62 crore of Sunday. After 17 days of release, the total domestic collection of Pink was recorded as 61.83 crores. Once again Shoojit Sircar’s recent venture is in weekdays and asusual getting lesser occupancy than before.

On its 3rd Monday, the movie faced almost 60% of drop than last Friday and collected the amount of 0.45 crore. Then on Tuesday some how it managed to secure the amount of 0.45 crore. On Wednesday, Pink showed little more drop and added the amount of 0.36 crore. With this, its 20 days domestic total has become 63.09 crores.
