8 Days Total Collection of Pink
Last Friday released Hindi movie, Pink has completed its opening week journey at box office on an excellent note. Due to its strong content and profound performance of stars, it impressed everyone and remained strong through out despite Emraan Hashmi’s Raaz Reboot in opposite.
Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury’s directorial Pink has been released with decent hype but due to positive reviews from critics as well as audience, it raised up and witnessed more than 120% of growth in its business from Friday to Sunday. Not only in India but from overseas market too, it reported quite good business.
In the opening weekend, Pink registered the business of 21.51 crores including 4.32 crores of Friday, 7.65 crores of Saturday and 9.54 crores of Sunday. Due to strong word of mouth, it received good response in weekdays and raked the business of total 14.40 crores including 3.78 crores of Monday, 3.51 crores of Tuesday, 3.87 crores of Wednesday and 3.24 crores of Thursday.
After the first week, total collection of Shoojit Sircar’s this social thriller was recorded as 35.91 crores, which is the 13th highest opening week collection record of this year so far. Now the movie has entered in its second week and has Banjo, Wah Taj, Parched & Days of Tafree new Hindi releases in opposite.
On its second Friday, Pink witnessed better response than new releases and added the amount of 3.15 crores to its account. With this, 8 days total collection of the movie has become 39.06 crores on domestic box office.
