9 Days Total Collection of Shoojit Sircar’s Pink
Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury’s directorial Pink has enjoyed excellent run in the opening week and still heading strongly on box office despite new releases. With strong word of mouth, the movie is witnessing good occupancy in theaters and successfully dominating all new Hindi offerings of this week.
With its strong content and brilliant performances by actors – Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari, Angad Bedi, Andrea Tariang & Piyush Mishra, Pink has impressed everyone and spreading like a revolution in the country. It started the journey on a decent note and witnessed more than 120% of growth in its business till Sunday.
In the opening week, Pink received overwhelmed response and did the business of 35.91 crores that includes 21.51 crores of weekend and 14.40 crores of weekdays. The weekend total consisted, 4.32 crores of Friday, 7.65 crores of Saturday and 9.54 crores of Sunday.
In weekdays too, it remained strong and minted 3.78 crores of Monday, 3.51 crores of Tuesday, 3.87 crores of Wednesday and 3.24 crores of Thursday. Now the movie is running in the second weekend and remained the first choice of audience.
On its 2nd Friday, Pink recorded higher response than all new Hindi releases and collected the amount of 3.15 crores. Then on next day i.e. Saturday, it reported impressive growth of more than 74% and added the amount of 5.49 crores to its account. With this 9 days total collection of the movie has become 44.55 crores on domestic box office.
