5 Days Total Collection of Romantic Period Drama ‘Rangoon’

First ever collaboration of Saif Ali Khan, Shahid Kapoor and Kangana Ranaut, Rangoon has been released with decent buzz across the country as well as overseas this Friday. Despite the favorable reviews of many critics, it hasn’t come out so well. Infact it got failure on box office and settling down in the first week only.

Rangoon 5 Days Total Box Office Collection

After the average opening on Friday, Rangoon was expected to take decent jump on Saturday & Sunday, as the movie was getting favorable reactions because of its content, commendable performances of stars and flawless direction. But nothing has come out in that way and the results were disappointing.

On the opening day, Vishal Bhardwaj’s directorial Rangoon witnessed below average occupancy and did the business of only 5.05 crores from Indian screens despite Maha Shivaratri holiday. On Saturday, unfortunately it showed no growth in its business graph and added the almost similar amount of 4.80 crores to its account.

On the last day of weekend i.e. Sunday too, Rangoon flushed all the expectations of fans and remained on ground with 4.65 crores on business on its third day. After the opening weekend, total collection of the movie was recorded as 14.50 crores. Now it is running in weekdays and getting very less footfalls in theaters due to normal working days.

On Monday, this romantic period drama faced massive downfall of around 74% than Friday and raked the business of only 1.30 crore. Then with further declination, it minted the amount of 1.20 crore and made its 5 days domestic total as 17 crores. With such disappointing performance so far, Rangoon is likely to get a tag of ‘box office disaster’.
