Box Office: Rangoon 7th Day Collection, Earns 18.90 Cr Total in Opening Week Domestically

7 Days Total Collection of ‘Rangoon’ across India

Filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj’s latest offering Rangoon was buzzing from a good time among audience before the release, but unfortunately got failed to attract them in theaters. On an average note this romantic period drama was started its journey and remained flat over the opening weekend. Afterward it faced abrupt drop in its business graph and lost most of its hold within the first week.

Due to flawless direction by Bhardwaj and brilliant performances of lead stars Saif Ali Khan, Shahid Kapoor & Kangana Ranaut, Rangoon received positive reviews from many critics but still hasn’t got succeed in keeping its pace maintained for long. With such poor performance on box office, the movie has disappointed the makers as well as fans.

In the opening weekend despite Maha Shivaratri holiday on Friday, Nadiadwala Grandson, VB Pictures and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures’ recent collaboration did the business of only 14.50 crores domestically, which was including 5.05 crores of Friday, 4.80 crores of Saturday and 4.65 crores of Sunday. Then in weekdays, asusual it faced massive drop as compare to weekend business.

On Monday, Rangoon witnessed the fall of 74% than Friday and added the amount of 1.30 crore to its account. With further declination in its business, the movie managed to collect the amount of 1.20 crore on Tuesday and 1 crore on Wednesday. On the last day of week i.e. Thursday, it minted the amount of 0.90 crore and made its first week domestic total as 18.90 crores.

From this Friday decently buzzed action thriller Commando 2 is being released, let see how Rangoon will perform in opposite to it and already existing Akshay Kumar’s Jolly LLB 2.
