Box Office: Rustom 4th Day Collection, Remains Very Strong on Monday

4 Days Total Collection of Akshay Kumar’s Rustom

Recent collaborated venture of the superstar Akshay Kumar and director-producer Neeraj Pandey, Rustom has taken phenomenal start on box office. Being year’s one of the much awaited movies, it has been released with enormous buzz among fans as well as audience and as expected witnessed terrific response across the globe.

Rustom has a strong story line and profound performances of stars, so it received positive reviews from most of the critics as well as moviegoers. Some of them are not satisfied with it but they also praised the work of Akshay, Ileana D’cruz & Esha Gupta.

On the opening day, Tinu Suresh Desai’s directorial this thriller drama witnessed excellent 50-55% occupancy across the country and registered the fourth highest opening of the year so far with 14.11 crores. From overseas market too, it recorded impressive business of 8.30 crores including 4.19 crores from UAE-GCC alone.

On Saturday being weekend and also due to positive word of mouth, Rustom received good growth in its business and minted the amount 16.43 crores. Then on the last day of weekend being Sunday, it reported the impressive increment in its occupancy and collected 19.88 crores on domestic box office.

After the opening weekend, total collection of the movie was recorded as 50.42 crores, which is the fourth highest opening weekend collection of the year so far after Sultan (180.36 crores 5-days), Housefull 3 (53.31 crores) & Fan (52.35 crores).

On Monday being public holiday on account of Independence Day, Rustom remained strong on box office with almost similar occupancy as on Sunday. As per the report, it added the amount of around 17.81 crores to its account on fourth day and pushed its domestic total to 68.23 crores.
