After an excellent opening despite being a docu-drama, last Friday released ‘Sachin A Billion Dreams’ has completed it’s one week journey at box office on a good note. The biopic of god of cricket Sachin Tendulkar witnessed overwhelmed response from fans as well as audience across the globe and received positive reviews from critics.

With huge craze of fans, ‘Sachin A Billion Dreams‘ was released on 26th May and registered the 7th highest opening of the year in Hindi cinema so far. In the opening weekend, it did the business of 28.05 crores from 2400 screens across the country, which included 8.60 crores of Friday, 9.20 crores of Saturday and 10.25 crores of Sunday.

Then in weekdays, asusual the movie recorded lesser footfalls in theaters than weekend but still remained almost steady. On Monday with 49% of drop than last Friday, ‘Sachin A Billion Dreams’ minted the amount of 4.20 crores. With further drops, it scored 3.50 crores on Tuesday and 3.05 crores on Wednesday.

On the last day of weekend i.e. Thursday, James Erskine’s directorial reported usual dip and bagged the amount of 2.40 crores. With this, one week total collection of ‘Sachin A Billion Dreams’ has become 41.20 crores on domestic box office. Reportedly from international market too, the movie got quite good response from audience.
