Box Office: Shivaay 2nd Day Collection, Ajay Devgn’s Film Gets Good on Saturday

Superstar Ajay Devgn’s recent offering, the action thriller Shivaay has taken good start on box office and as expected getting overwhelmed response from fans across the country as well as overseas. Due to adjacent release romantic drama Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, the movie is facing competition but still reporting good business on box office.

Due to its outstanding direction and magnificent visuals, Ajay Devgn’s directorial has received very positive reviews from critics as well as moviegoers. Because of competition, half of the audience get diverted towards the opposite one but they have liked Shivaay too and showing thumbs up for it.

On the opening day, Shivaay has recorded 30-35% of occupancy on Indian screens and registered the tenth highest opening of the year so far. It did the business of 10.24 crores on Friday and reportedly the major contribution in its business was made by single screen cinemas, whereas the multi screens witnessed higher response for Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.

On the next day i.e. Saturday despite being Chhoti Diwali the movie remained steady and reported almost similar occupancy of 30% across India. As per the report, Shivaay has done the business of 10.06 crores on its second day. With this, its 2 days total collection has become 20.30 crores on domestic box office. The movie is positively expected to stay rock-steady till Tuesday.
