23 Days Total Collection of Shivaay & Ae Dil Hai Mushkil
Three weeks back released much awaited movies Shivaay & Ae Dil Hai Mushkil have witnessed excellent response on box office despite clash. Karan Johar’s directorial has taken lead over the opposite one domestically but that doesn’t mean Shivaay has failed. It has also received positive reviews from audience as well as critics and has come very close to the mark of 100 crores.
Yeah! from international market, this action thriller has not reported any impressive business. Whereas ADHM outstandingly raked the business of 81.81 crores in last 3 weeks from there. On domestic box office, Ajay Devgn’s Shivaay started its journey on a good note and did the excellent business of 70.41 crores in the opening week.
In the second week too, it remained almost steady and registered decent business of 22.99 crores. Then in the third week due to demonetization decision, the movie faced abrupt fall in its business and collected the amount of 4.75 crores. After 21 days of release, total collection of Shivaay was recorded as 98.15 crores.
Now it is in fourth weekend and has newly released Force 2 & Tum Bin 2 in opposite along with adjacent Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. On the 4th Friday, it minted the amount of 0.19 crore with some more drop. Then on the next day i.e. Saturday, the movie reported little rise and added the amount of 0.30 crore to its account.
Ranbir Kapoor starrer Ae Dil Hai Mushkil also commenced its journey on an excellent business and reported the business of 80.19 crores in the first week. It remained the first choice of audience in its second week too and scored 24.67 crores. In its third week, due to currency ban this romantic drama also witnessed much loss and added 5.35 crores to its account.
After 3 weeks, total collection of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil was calculated as 110.21 crores. Now it has entered in the fourth weekend and raked the business of 0.21 crore on 4th Friday with usual drop. On Saturday, it received little rise and secured the amount of 0.40 crore. Sunday is positively expected to come out in little more higher.
