Superstar Ajay Devgn’s recent offering Shivaay has completed its 4 weeks journey on box office with almost good performance. Despite the clash with Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, this action thriller had strong hold over audience in its early weeks. After the decision of demonetization, the movie started witnessing lower response across the country but kept itself moving by adding considerable amounts to its account on each day.

In last 4 weeks, Shivaay has done the business of total 99.80 crores, which includes 70.41 crores of first, 22.99 crores of second, 4.75 crores of third and 1.65 crore of fourth week. Now it is only few yards away from the 100 crores mark and to surpass the lifetime total of 2011’s Singham (100 cr).

While the adjacent release Ranbir Kapoor starrer Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is leading over Shivaay from the very first day. It has recorded the business of 112.14 crores in last 4 weeks, that includes 80.19 crores of first, 24.67 crores of second, 5.35 crores of third and 1.93 crore of fourth week.

From international market, ADHM has registered way higher business than Shivaay. It has raked the amount of 84.82 crores in 4 weeks from there.

Now both the movies have entered in their fifth week and has decently buzzed new release Dear Zindagi of Shahrukh Khan & Alia Bhatt along with last week released John Abraham & Sonakshi Sinha’s Force 2. On the fifth Friday, Shivaay reported some drop than the previous day and collected the amount of 0.07 crore. Whereas ADHM minted 0.04 crore and become the second highest grossing movie of Ranbir’s career so far.
