But despite the clash, Ajay Devgn’s directorial reported excellent business of 70.41 crores from 2300 screens across India in its first week.

In the second week too, it remained strong and did the business of 22.99 crores. Afterward Shivaay started struggling on box office because of demonetization, which raised cash problem in the country. In its third week, the movie raked only 4.75 crores and 1.65 crore in the fourth week with further decrements.

After 4 weeks, total collection of Shivaay was recorded as 99.80 crores on domestic box office. Now it is running in the fifth week and completed one month with the end of its fifth weekend. Due to the new release SRK-Alia’s Dear Zindagi, Ajay’s starrer affected more and minted the amount of 0.07 crore on Friday and 0.08 crore on Saturday.

On the last day of weekend i.e. Sunday, it reported little growth and added the amount of 0.10 crore to its account, which makes it 31 days total as 100.05 crores. With this, Shivaay has become the 6th movie of Ajay Devgn to enter in 100 crores club domestically and the 5th highest grossing movie by surpassing the lifetime total of Singham (100 crores).
