Expected Opening Day Collection of Noor & Maatra in India

One of the most popular Bollywood actresses Sonakshi Sinha’s much anticipated offering Noor is all set to release this Friday on decent number of screens across the country. Due to good scale promotions and face value of Sonakshi, this drama movie has much hype among fans as well as audience.

1st Day Collection Prediction of Noor & Maatr

This is the second heroine oriented movie of Sonakshi after 2016’s Akira, which performed decently at domestic box office. Noor has the genre that attracts large segment of audience, so the latest one is also expected to perform comparatively on a decent note; although the screen count is lesser.

But the journey of Sunhil Sippy’s directorial won’t be easy, as it has new offerings Maatr and Smurfs: The Lost Village in opposite along with already ruling Hollywood movie Fast And Furious 8which successfully dominated the adjacent Begum Jaan last week. We can ignore the fresh competitors but F8 still has good hold over the Indian audience.

As per reports, Noor has registered an average advance booking till Thursday and could receive the opening of around 3-3.50 crores with overall 20% of occupancy across the country. Movie’s further performance depends on the acceptance of audience and the reactions of critics.

On the other hand, Raveena Tandon’s Maatr is based on the serious issue of female molestation and has completely opposite genre than Noor. Also it doesn’t have much hype among audience, but would get good support of fans, as Raveena is making her comeback on big screen after a long time.

On the opening day, Ashtar Sayed’s directorial is expected to witness 10% of occupancy and take the start of around 1 crore across the country. It could get better over the weekend, if critics react in favor. But there is no chance of serious competition between Maatr and Noor.

How does it make you feel?
