Box Office: The Ghazi Attack 8th Day Collection, Minted Total 11.85 Cr in Opening Week

Total Domestic Collection of ‘The Ghazi Attack’ across India

Last Friday released, one among the several Hindi offerings The Ghazi Attack has completed its one week journey at box office on an average note. Despite the heavy competition with already existing Akshay Kumar’s Jolly LLB 2, Sankalp Reddy’s directorial remained steady throughout the opening week and received huge appreciations from its viewers.

Based on the novel ‘The Blue Fish’, it explores the lesser known fact about mysterious sinking of Pakistani submarine PNS Ghazi, which was triggered in Indian water to destroy INS Vikrant. The Ghazi Attack is India’s first underwater movie, which is has impressed all its viewers with such strong content and execution.

Presented by Dharma Productions and AA Films, The Ghazi Attack is starring Rana Daggubati, Kay Kay Menon, Atul Kulkarni in pivotal roles, along with Om Puri and Taapsee Pannu in crucial supporting roles. All the actors have justified their characters wonderfully and praised by critics also.

In the opening weekend, The Ghazi Attack reported average occupancy and did the business of 6.70 crores from its Hindi version only, which was including 1.65 crore of Friday, 2.25 crores of Saturday and 2.80 crores of Sunday. Then in weekdays, asusual it faced some drop but remained steady.

With around 6% of drop than Friday, the movie raked the business of 1.55 crore on Monday and 1.50 crore on Tuesday. With further decline, it minted the amount of 1.10 crore on Wednesday and 1 crore on Thursday. After one week, total collection of The Ghazi Attack was recorded as 11.85 crores on domestic box office.

Now the movie has entered in the second weekend and has new offering Rangoon in opposite with Jolly LLB 2. Despite this, it reported the business of 0.90 crore (from Hindi screens in India) on 2nd Friday and positively expected to take decent jump over the weekend.

The Ghazi Attack was also released in Telugu & Tamil versions, and registered the business of total 27.25 crores (Fri 4.25cr, Sat 5.25cr, Sun 6.25cr, Mon 3.65cr, Tue 3.15cr, Wed 2.40cr, Thu 2.30cr) in first week from all three versions.
