Akshay Kumar starrer latest action drama movie Brothers is performing excellently at box office. As expected movie gets overwhelmed response from audience in India as well as in overseas. Brothers is a non-masala movie but being the emotional story of dispersed relations and the perfect family entertainer, it is getting wonderful support of moviegoers. This shows the stardom and belief of fans on their favorite star Akshay, even after the low stars rating of some critics Brothers is getting mind blowing public response and collecting excellent figures.

On the first day in morning, the craze of audience towards the movie was looking slightly down. But later on, the positive response of audience was created a favorable environment for it. Word of mouth encouraged more audience to watch the movie and Brothers was experienced increment in its occupancy from evening shows. On the first day it has done the business of 15.20 crores which was earlier expected to be 13 crores at-most.

Everyone who watched the movie has loved it and appreciating the performance of the entire cast, especially Akshay & Jackie Shroff. They both have performed their characters superbly. The second lead Sidharth Malhotra has also acted very well in the movie. Jacqueline & Shefali Shah both justifies with their characters. The soulful music of Brothers has played very important role in setting high buzz about it among audience.

On 2nd day i.e. Saturday being the weekend and ofcourse national holiday on accounts of Independence Day, Brothers has showed good growth in its business. From morning shows, it has reported higher occupancy than its first day and at the end recorded 21.43 crores as its second day collection with the increment of approx 40%. Now the total collection of the movie has become 36.63 crores from Indian screens. On the main day of weekend i.e. Sunday, Brothers is expected to touch the mark of 60 crores at Indian box office.
