Dangal 5 Weeks Total Collection in China, Aamir starrer Inches towards 1900 Cr Worldwide

After impressing the entire world, last month Aamir Khan starrer Dangal was released in China on 9000 screens and performed incredibly well at box office. The movie received huge appreciation from everyone there and remained strong throughout it’s 5 weeks journey.

With it’s monstrous run in China, this sports biopic dominated the Indian cinema’s biggest blockbuster Baahubali 2 at worldwide box office. Although SS Rajamouli’s directorial is yet to release in China, but it doesn’t seem to perform tremendously like Dangal there.

In last 4 weeks, despite having several international movies in opposite, Dangal maintained strong hold and fetched the business of 994.45 crores gross ($153.73 million), that included 164.59 crores of week-1, 324.94 crores of week-2, 295.31 crores of week-3 and 209.61 crores of week-4.

Then in the fifth weekend too, Dangal remained almost steady and garnered the business of $9.30 million i.e. 59.83 crores, with 11.13 crores on Friday, 25.67 crores on Saturday and 23.03 crores on Sunday.

In weekdays, it managed to collect the amount of 7.60 crores ($1.18 mn) on Monday, 7.99 crores ($1.24 mn) on Tuesday and 7.45 crores ($1.16 mn) on Wednesday. On the next day i.e. Thursday, the movie recorded some drop and added 7 crores ($1.09 mn).

With this, 5 weeks total collection of Dangal has become $167.70 million i.e. 1084.32 crores gross. As per the report from distributors, the cumulative gross total of the movie has been raised to $174.45 million i.e. 1121.63 crores.
