‘Dilwale’ Opened up with year’s 3rd Highest Opening on Friday
Rohit Shetty’s directorial latest action comedy Dilwale is heading excellently at box office. The movie has released on Friday with huge excitement of audience and witnessed wonderful response from audience in India as well as in overseas. The movie has received mixed reviews from critics but still with the support of fans and audience, it has registered 3rd highest opening of the year after Salman Khan’s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo & Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Earlier it was expected to break the record of Bajrangi Bhaijaan but due to clash with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani, screens have divided which resulted out in less.
Fans of Shahrukh are showing immense craze for Dilwale and their excitement can be seen outside theaters and on social media. They are creating huge buzz about the movie everywhere which has generated a wave of Dilwale over box office. Actually most of the critics & a portion of audience are not satisfied with the story line of the movie and also because of adjacent release Bajirao Mastani, the Shahrukh-Kajol starrer is facing loss in occupancy as well as business.
On its very first day, it was recorded the overall occupancy of almost 70% across the country and minted the amount of 21 crores. With this business figure, it has become the third highest opener of year 2015. In overseas also, Dilwale was did quite well business. This action comedy is flying high on hype because of the stardom of Shahrukh Khan but the mixed response from audience as well as critics has resulted out in slight drop for it on Saturday. The movie has done the business of near about 20.09 crores as its second day collection.
