Fan 11th Day Box Office Collection: Crosses 80 Cr as Domestic Total

‘Fan’ looses hold over audience!

There is nothing left for Fan on box office except disappointment. The movie has been released with huge excitement of fans as well as audience and also received very positive reviews from critics. But still it has not showed any impressive performance on box office and settled down so early. Nobody expected such poor response for the movie of King Khan. The reason behind its failure must be known, is it a warning to Bollywood?. It seems now audience do not want only star but interesting story also. Fan is completely a lame effort of Yash Raj Films, to give a blockbuster on the name of superstar Shahrukh Khan.

Maneesh Sharma’s directorial Fan had reported far less than the earlier expectations but overall good in the first week and raked the business of 71.50 cr. The week domestic total includes, 52.35 cr of weekend and 19.15 cr of weekdays. With this, it has emerged as third highest opening week grosser of 2016 so far after Airlift and The Jungle Book. From the overseas market, it made 51.48 cr in a week.

Now the movie is running in its second week and received decent response from audience in the weekend. It minted the amount of only 7.75 cr in its second weekend, that includes 1.70 cr of Friday, 2.65 cr of Saturday and 3.40 cr of Sunday. The Jungle Book has reported far better performance than this in its third weekend. After the 10 days journey, total domestic collection of Fan was recorded as 79.25 cr.

After weekend, gain it has entered in weekdays and as expected witnessing very low response. On its 2nd Monday Fan faced almost 60% of drop and added the amount of 1.10 cr* to its account. After its 11th day, total collection of the movie is recorded as 80.35 cr across India. Now it seems to collect below 90 cr in its lifetime domestically.
