After a long promotion period and buzz in the social media, Zoya Akhtar latest Indian comedy-drama film Dil Dhadakne Do has released yesterday on screens worldwide. We have already seen that the pre release response for it was excellent and audience had booked their tickets in advance. As there is no other movie released on same day, so all these factors together contributed in the success and better collection on first day. The film has released in approximately 2300 screens with overall occupancy of 50-60%.

Starring Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma, Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar, Anil Kapoor and Shefali Shah, the film has some big stars and hence Priyanka and Ranveer’s fan following may help the film perform better. Dil Dhadakne Do has got a good or you can say decent start on its opening day in theaters across country. Evening shows contributed even more occupancy and the total income made by Dil Dhadakne Do in India is recorded at 10.53 crores yesterday.

Audience enjoyed the movie thoroughly and one could see the happy atmosphere inside the theaters and positive reviews outside the multiplexes after watching it. As it is good budget and well picturized, it is expected to run for a fair long time on box office and earn much more in the coming days of the weekend.

Two weeks ago released Tanu Weds Manu Returns was storming on box office and in just 10 days of release has become the highest grosser of the year 2015.
