Golmaal Again 24th Day Collection, Enters in 200 Crore Club Domestically by 4th Weekend

Finally with the end of fourth weekend, action comedy Golmaal Again has emerged as the first 200 crore grosser of the year in Bollywood and superstar Ajay Devgn’s career as well at Indian box office. Also it has already acquired the 13th position in the list of top grossing Hindi films of all time.

Directed by Rohit Shetty, Golmaal Again is the fourth installment of India’s popular comedy franchise Golmaal and was released with great buzz among fans. As expected it opened to an outstanding note at box office and also received favorable response from most of the critics as well as audience.

After the excellent 3 weeks, in the fourth weekend as well the film remained almost steady despite having several new offerings in opposite. On 4th Friday, it did the business of 0.62 crore with 44% of drop than previous day.

Then over the weekend once again Golmaal Again showed good growth and minted the amount of 1.16 crore on 4th Saturday and 1.69 crore on 4th Sunday. With which, it’s total 24 days collection has raised to 201.41 crores at domestic box office including 197.94 crores of last 3 weeks.

By remaining strong throughout the opening week, superstar Ajay Devgn starrer raked the business of 136.07 crores that included 87.60 crores of weekend and 48.47 crores of weekdays. In the second week as well, the film registered good business of 46.85 crores with 31.44 crores of weekend and 15.41 crores of weekdays.

Although in the third week, Golmaal Again reported considerable drop due to Thor Ragnarok but still scored well and garnered the business of 15.02 crores that included 10.58 crores of weekend and 4.44 crores of weekdays.
