With so big competition in front of it, the lesser budget movie Haider could not do the expected level of business on screens after its release. Film starring Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor with much talented actress Tabbu, got released last week along with the big budget and hyped movie Bang Bang which featured Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif in main lead roles.Both films performed as good releases and reported high income by the end of opening day. How so ever to be true, Haider came out to be slower runner in the race in the later days. It created too high buzz in the media and raised audience expectations so much that it became difficult for it to stand on the mark. Haider has given a decent 1 week performance and with the end of today, it registered good seventh day occupancy and audience response. Though film has not done any high business but the figures are bit better.

With normal figures in its hand, Haider ended up its first week on box Office with not so excellent remarks. Film could not make the level of performance as expected from it before its release. Though acting skills of star cast of Haider especially Shahid Kapoor has been loved by most of the audience but still it could not help out the film to attract much viewers to the cinema halls. There are many reasons behind the stagnant performance of Haider on big screen like low number of screens, less budget, non masala element, lesser star powered star cast and of course, such a big competition; all these factors have resulted in normal collection of Haider movie. Overall film managed somehow to make a decent end to its first week by seventh Day Collection of nearly 3.07 Crores with its one week aggregate income of nett. 38.45 Crores. Let see how well Haider keeps itself in coming days.
