After big buzz in media and so many hypes among the audience, the most awaited movie Happy New Year has finally hit the box office screens today. Happy New Year has been directed by Farah Khan and Produced by Gauri Khan under their own production house i.e. Red Chillies Entertainment. The film features audience favorable and charming chemistry in the lead roles namely Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone who are third time acting opposite each other and looking fabulous. Apart from these two, Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, Sonu Sood and Vivaan Shah are also playing important roles. The story of the film revolves around a dance competition and robbery. Audience was waiting a long time for this film getting release and now when the day has finally came, audience showed up huge interest in the film and everyone was outside the theatres and cinema halls today to watch this movie.

Happy New Year Opening Day Income

Overall occupancy of the film was fantastic today and most of the shows were seen houseful. Film made greater business in north India and recorded a total first day income of nett 44.97 Crores, which is a very positive amount. Now the film is set to face its first weekend and next two days will be very profitable for it as it is the weekend time. Happy New Year is a fascinating movie and most of the audience loved the film and especially the two main leads in a unique love story. There were other good releases like Bang Bang and Haider today but they haven’t affected business of Happy New Year much due to being old release, on the contrary; Happy New Year has proved to be a good competitor for these two films hugely.
