Housefull 3 19th Day Collection: Becomes 3rd Highest Grossing Comedy Movie of all Time

Housefull 3 Surpasses Lifetime Total of Golmaal 3!

Couple of weeks ago released laughter riot Housefull 3 is now crawling on box office due to new releases. The movie has showed excellent performance in the opening week and maintained well in the second week too. Despite mixed reviews from critics, it has achieved good height and acquired the second position among year’s top highest grossing movies.

Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Jacqueline Fernandez, Abhishek Bachchan, Nargis Fakhri and Lisa Haydon starrer this third installment of India’s most successful comedy franchise Housefull, is liked by audience. Everyone praised the comic timing of Akshay & Riteish, for which they are best known.

In the opening week, Housefull 3 reported fantastic response of audience through out and minted the amount of 80.10 crores, that includes 53.31 crores of weekend and 26.79 crores of weekdays. In the second week, it received almost good and raked the business of 23.10 crores that includes 15.20 crores of weekend and 7.90 cores of weekdays with 70% of drop than the first week.

After the 2 weeks, total domestic collection of Housefull 3 was recorded as 103.20 crores. Now the movie is running in its third week and facing heavy competition due to new release Udta Punjab. It did the business of only 3.02 crores in the weekend, that includes 0.65 crore of Friday, 0.92 crore of Saturday and 1.45 crore of Sunday.

Once again, Sajid-Farhad’s directorial is in weekdays and as usual witnessing lesser response. On Monday it faced the drop of almost 35% than Friday and minted the amount of 0.43 crore* as its 18th day collection. On the next day i.e. Tuesday, it started the day with almost similar occupancy and estimated to add around 0.39 crore* to its account. With this, total 19 days domestic collection of Housefull 3 will become 107.04 crores* and surpass the lifetime total of Golmaal 3 (107 crores).
