Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan’s second film together Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania is already inching towards 50 Crores mark. Shashank Khaitan’s directorial venture which released last week has already raked good income in its account in the first week and now the film has entered today in its second working week. But talking about the last week released movie, there was one more big competition in the race named Lai Bhaari, which is the debut Marathi film of Riteish Deshmukh. Lai Bhaari has come out as a biggie and superb Marathi entertainer by collecting enormous business especially in the Mumbai regions. Where Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania has done an outstanding job in the northern regions and other cities of India, Lai Bhaari was dominated by the Marathi fans. Both the films have proved to be strong competitor in their own way how so ever talking collection wise then Lai Bhaari has done a mind blowing job as a Marathi release but could not collect as much as Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania did.

Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania movie has been released in 2200 plus across huge number screens at the domestic and overseas box office in its 1st week. The film has collected superb collection in Delhi/NCR and East Punjab, while the film has been collecting below performance in Mumbai, Nizam and central India. Today is the 8th day of release for this film and due to new release Hate Story 2 it earned lesser amount and closed its Second Friday box office collection at 3.22 Crores.
Lai Bhaari 2nd Friday Income
Lai Bhaari has smashed all the previous records by any Marathi film at box office. Riteish made his debut as actor with this Marathi movie. With Lai Bhaari receiving positive feedback, it is expected to dominate the Mumbai domestic box office in the coming days. Second Friday has brought decent figures for the film of around 1.8 Crores but on the whole it has faced a downfall due to new Bollywood releases today.
