Recent Bollywood movie Humshakals was released single last week which means it was the only Bollywood movie which released that week and affected by this plus point, the film has shown a positive income in its total 8 days journey at the box office. Humshakals was released last Friday on 20 June 2014 with much promotions, popularity and hypes, there were critical analysis about the film that it may not be much welcomed by the audience due to weak script but the film came out as a surprise when it recorded so good collections in its first day, weekend and even first week. The movie has strong star cast of Saif Ali Khan, Riteish Deshmukh and Ram Kapoor in main lead actor roles while they have the supporting main lead actresses Bipasha Basu, Tamannah Bhatia and Esha Gupta. Audience liked the comedy content of the film and enjoyed the triple roles dose form the leads. On its 8th day of release, the film is still doing well but now getting affected adversely from new releases like Ek Villain, Transformer 4 and Punjab 1984.

Humshakals made a good box office performance till now and the solo week proved much beneficial in account of the movie. 2nd Friday opened with a drop in the occupancy due to many factors and the film made a total trade of around 2.2 Crores today. After making a good performance graph in the first wee, now the film is ready to face serious threat from the three new releases among which Ek Villain and Transformers 4 are most competitive due to their wide name and popularity in their own ways. Humshakals have to fight in the screens for audience and if it manages to survive these three days of weekend and might this comedy genre do longer business in box office.
