Rajinikanth’s Kabali Released on 1000 Screens in Hindi
The very much awaited movie of superstar Rajinikanth, Kabali has been released on 4000 screens worldwide in three languages- Tamil, Telugu & Hindi. This includes 1000 screens of Hindi language, distributed by Fox Star Studios. Being the Thalaiva starrer, the movie had enormous pre-release hype among audience and received overwhelmed response from audience across the globe.
Due to grand scale promotions and obviously the presence of Rajinikanth, Kabali has terrific craze in north India too. Unfortunately it has not received much positive reviews from critics but still audience showing big thumbs up for it. Fans of superstar are creating huge buzz for Kabali, their immense excitement can be easily seen outside the theaters and on social media.
On the opening day, the movie has reported phenomenal occupancy of more than 70% for the Hindi version and raked the business of around 4.15 crores. With this, Kabali has surpassed the opening record of Rajinikanth starrer 2010’s Robot (Enthiran), that was 2 crores on same number of screens. But the movie hasn’t succeed in breaking the record of Baahubali, that was released on 1500 Hindi screens and did the business of 5.15 crores.
Due to the super positive reviews, S.S. Rajamouli’s Baahubali witnessed impressive growth from the next day and registered 22 crores as its opening weekend business. But Kabali has not received that much positive reviews from critics, also the screen count is lesser. So it is estimated to rake approx. 18 crores by this weekend.
