‘Kapoor and Sons’ has Raked 65.07 Cr in 2 Weeks
Last month released the family entertainer ‘Kapoor and Sons’ has successfully completed its 2 weeks journey at box office. It has received very positive reviews from critics and has become the third highest grosser movie of the year so far after Akshay Kumar’s Airlift and Sonam Kapoor’s Neerja. Due to strong word of mouth it received overwhelmed response from audience across the country as well as overseas through out. Audience find Kapoor and Sons very entertaining and delightful, that is the reason after its second week too it has enough hold over audience and adding decent business figures to its account.
In the first week, Kapoor and Sons had witnessed excellent response and minted the amount of 46.93 crores, that includes 35.93 crores of weekend and 11 crores of weekdays. In the second too it performed well and collected 18.14 crores, that includes 12.09 crores of weekend and 6.10 crores of weekdays. After the two weeks, it reported the total business of 65.07 crores from India and around 40 crores from overseas.
Now it has entered in the third week and still getting much response at box office. Despite the new release Ki and Ka, Kapoor and Sons received decent occupancy and raked the business of 0.90 crore as its 15th day collection. It is positively expected to take little rise on Saturday and Sunday.
