Superstar Rajnikanth’s Kochadaiiyaan hit theatres on May 23 after much delay. The movie is high on VFX is a visual feast. As the audience was eagerly waiting for this flick to get released so now when the time has finally come it seems that audience response had declined a bit than the expected mark of reaction. Kochadaiiyaan was promoted worldwide and has been released on a global level which is a tremendous remark for any Indian movie, also the film has released in different languages in so many countries and various versions that makes it more meaningful and entertaining. It is being said that might the reason for little slower public response for Kochadaiiyaan is the Bollywood latest release Heropanti which has snatched much of the audience form Kochadaiiyaan shows and another reason is the Hollywood biggie X Men which has released its latest installment Days of Future Pat in India on the same day. The film had showed well on its fifth day and Tuesday being a sole working day has brought decent occupancy for the film with a drop of around 60% from Sunday and 5th day has ended up at 6.5 Crores. Music of Kochadaiiyaan is a big hit in the dominated regions due to popularity of A.R Rahman and his extreme singing talent. The film is quite away from its cost and it has to make many efforts in order to make profit and recover the budget.
