‘Civil War’ Gets Amazing Response across India

The very much awaited, third installment of Marvel Studios’ successful superhero franchise Captain America has been released at box office this week with massive hype among audience. As expected, it has break the spell of previous week released Hindi movie Baaghi and also getting much higher response than new Bollywood releases. The movie is being liked by everyone and many of them have tagged it as the best movie of this series so far. Critics have also reviewed with very positive words and showed big thumbs to it.


In its opening weekend, Captain America Civil War has reported amazing start on Indian box office and successfully dominated the opening record of Batman Vs Superman: Dawn of Justice, which has been released on 25 March in India. The latest one has raked the business of total 27.13 cr in the first weekend, that includes 8.53 cr of Friday, 8.79 cr of Saturday and 9.81 cr of Sunday. With the end of weekend, it recorded the total gross collection as 37.68 cr including all shares from Indian screens.

Now the movie is running in weekdays and asusual getting lesser response than weekend but still stands strong. On Monday with more than 50% of drop, it minted the amount of 4.59 cr as its fourth day collection. On the next day i.e. Tuesday, it received slight more drop and added the amount of 4.05 cr to its account. After its fifth day, total collection of Captain America Civil War is recorded as 35.77 cr on Indian box office.
