Mastram Sixth Day Box Office Response

Last Friday seemed to be a big platform for the small budget movies again as the release of Kollywood biggie movie Kochadaiiyaan has been postponed to 23rd May 2014. Starting from the first one named Mastram; it is a romantic movie with bold characters and unfamiliar star cast. The film has released six days back on box office along with many other co release named like Manjunath and Koyelaanchal etc. Mastram movie has not been well promoted and also there is not any star factor related to the movie which could attract good number of audience towards the theaters.

Hence the total box office response of audience for Mastram was very low on its first day of release till now. Lead roles have been played by Kapil Dubey, Rahul Bagga and Tara Sharma who made her debut as a Bollywood actress through this film. On its 6th day of release, it has got just average response from the audience due to the ongoing weekdays but may rise a bit in the coming weekend.

Mastram 1st Wednesday Box Office Collection

It is near one week for the film and total box office collection made by Mastram are just average but can be said better than some of the co releases anyhow. Total 6th day box office collection of Mastram was recorded at 0.15 Crores by the end of the day. Story of Mastram is different and is about a bank clerk who is from a small town and travels to Delhi to become a writer and nobody supports him for his different love for literature. The boy named Rajaram inspired by litterateur who reluctant pornographic and also inspired by anonymous author of popular pulp fiction and adult stories in Hindi. Rajaram wrote some stories in adults based and those are sold in railway station stalls and small roadside and also private shops in north India. Mastram is doing good struggle between art and erotic and got good response from audience. Its cast has not done good promotion of this movie so this is where success of the movie lacks.
