Neerja 14th Day Collection; Crosses 57 Cr in 2 Weeks as Domestic Total

‘Neerja’ has Completed 2 Weeks at Box Office with Proud!

Ram Madhvani’s directorial recently released thriller film based on true story, Neerja has completed its two weeks journey at box office on an excellent note. The film has reported terrific performance through out in India as well as in overseas. Sonam Kapoor starrer Neerja has received very positive reviews from critics and audience because of its strong content and her brilliant acting in the film. It had taken a decent start on first day but showed impressive boost in occupancy from the next day and has maintained that pace till the end of its second week.

In its first week, Neerja did outstanding business of 35.32 crores with strong buzz at box office. It had raked the business of 22.01 crores in opening weekend and 13.31 crores in weekdays. From the second week, the film was expected to face some drop in its business due to new releases but it has dominated all and declared itself as super hit. In the second weekend, it did the business of total 14.80 crores, that includes 3.70 crores of Friday, 5 crores of Saturday and 6.65 crores of Sunday.

In weekdays, as expected it witnessed lesser response and but still remained strong. With decent occupancy in theaters, it had minted the amount of 2.12 crores on Monday, 1.90 crore on Tuesday and 1.85 crore on Wednesday. On the last day of the week, it received almost similar response and added the amount of 1.76 crore to its account. Till the end of 2 weeks, total domestic collection of Neerja is recorded as 57.75 crores. As per report, the film has done the business of over 22 crores from overseas screens till yet.
