Nagarjuna Akkineni’s Oopiri Gets Strong Word of Mouth
The latest offering from South Indian Cinema after a good gap, comedy family drama Telugu-Tamil movie Oopiri; titled as Thozha in Tamil. Megastar Nagarjuna Akkineni, Karthi and Tamannaah Bhatia starrer this movie is the official remake of French movie The Intouchables. It is directed by Vamsi Paidipally and backed by Prasad V Potluri under the banner of PVP Cinema.
Oopiri has released this Friday in decent number of screens and received very positive reviews from critics. Audience find the movie very entertaining and worth watch, which has generated strong word of mouth about it on box office. The entire team is being praised by everyone for giving such lovely movie. Critics marked it as another good family entertainer movie from Nagarjuna after Manam and Soggade Chinni Nayana so far. On its opening day, Oopiri (Thozha) has witnessed excellent occupancy in its dominated regions and recorded the business of around 11 crores* from India including both the versions. It is positively expected to get better in coming days. In overseas too, the movie has reported excellent business.
